Where to stay near Piazza San Carlo in Turin?
Piazza San Carlo is just a few minutes' walk from every ELYUS Heritage Collection residence. The Signature Grand Suite is on Via XX Settembre 41, two minutes from the square. The Urban Marble Suite is on a discreet side street, three minutes away. The Dune Luxury Residence is on Via Lagrange 35, six minutes away. All are housed in historic palaces in central Turin and bookable directly with no commission fees.
Is it better to book directly or via Booking/Airbnb?
Booking directly on elyusresidences.com is always the best choice: the published rate is the net rate, with no intermediary commission (typically 10–18% of total cost on OTAs such as Booking or Airbnb). Direct booking also opens an immediate channel with the concierge before and during your stay, allowing personalised requests (off-hours check-in, tailored services, specific needs) that intermediary platforms are not designed to handle.
Are ELYUS residences suitable for business stays or remote work?
Yes. Every ELYUS Heritage Collection residence is equipped for extended business stays: high-speed Wi-Fi, individual climate control, separate work and rest areas, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer. The Signature Grand Suite and the Urban Marble Suite offer 175–190 sqm with multiple living areas, ideal for those alternating work and private moments. Daily housekeeping, laundry and other services can be activated through the concierge.
How does check-in work?
Check-in is digital. A few days before your arrival, you will receive a WhatsApp link to a dedicated web app, with buttons to open the building entrance, the intermediate doors and the residence itself — all systems are fully compliant with current regulations, with no visible key boxes.
On request, an in-person check-in is also available: one of our operators will welcome you, accompany you to the residence and walk you through the amenities and the building rules. The service is offered at a supplement of 45 € and must be requested through our virtual reception at least one day before arrival, by phone, WhatsApp or email.
What is the minimum stay?
The minimum stay is managed by a dynamic algorithm and varies according to season, period and residence. As a guideline, it starts from 1 night in low season and 2 nights on weekends and during high season — exact conditions are always shown on the booking engine at the moment of reservation.
What are the cancellation policies?
For each residence you can choose between two rates:
- Flexible rate — free cancellation up to 5 days before arrival, with full refund. After this deadline, the amount is non-refundable.
- Non-refundable rate — 10% discount compared to the flexible rate, but the amount is not refunded in case of cancellation.
In case of no-show, both rates are charged in full.
What is included and what is not?
Included in the rate: initial and final cleaning, quality linen and towels, WiFi, utilities (electricity, gas, water, climate control). For stays longer than 7 nights, a weekly linen change is provided — fresh linen delivered, used linen collected — already included in the price.
Not included: city tax, payable on arrival according to the City of Turin's rates — currently 2.30 € per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights; and daily in-room housekeeping, available on request at a dedicated rate.
Is a concierge service available?
Yes, the concierge service is included and covers information, recommendations and practical assistance for any request during your stay. Additional paid services are available on request — private chef, private driver, personal shopper, lingerie atelier, personal housekeeper, private tour guide — along with a programme of exclusive experiences: visits to the Reggia di Venaria, stays in the Langhe wine region, days in the Gran Paradiso national park, curated itineraries through the hidden side of Turin. Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome, provided they have the required documentation under current regulations and that the rules of the host building are respected.
How can I reach Turin Caselle Airport from the residences?
On request, we can arrange a private transfer with premium car and driver, to be agreed with the concierge.
Alternatively, the airport is well connected by public transport:
- By train: SFM4, SFM6 and SFM7 lines connect Turin Porta Susa station directly to Caselle Airport every 30 minutes, with a journey time of 27-30 minutes and a fare of 3.70 €. From Porta Susa to our city-centre residences, the fastest option is Metro Line 1 towards Bengasi, alighting at Porta Nuova station (about 8 minutes), then a 5-minute walk.
- By bus: line 268 (Arriva, formerly SADEM) connects Caselle to Porta Nuova every 15-30 minutes.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
- Check-in: from 3:00 PM onwards.
- Check-out: by 10:00 AM.
Early check-in or late check-out can be arranged on request, at a supplement, subject to availability between bookings and housekeeping schedules.
Are the residences suitable for children?
Children are welcome. Children up to 3 years old stay free. On request and at a supplement, the concierge can arrange dedicated equipment (travel cot, high chair, changing table) to be agreed at the time of booking. The residences are not equipped with baby-proofing accessories on kitchens and bathrooms (corner protectors, drawer locks).
Are the residences accessible?
The residences are partially accessible: entrances are step-free, all are served by lift, and internal doors are wide enough for wheelchair access. The bathrooms are not equipped with disability-specific fixtures (grab bars, shower seats, dedicated walk-in showers).
